The company was founded in 2001 by Norwegian entrepreneur Atlom Bryunestadom, who once founded Seabourn Cruise Line, and his friend and companion Larry Pimentel, former President of Seabourn.

The new company operates two mega-yachts SeaDream I and SeaDream II, which quickly gained recognition among travelers seeking a unique vacation.
